Welcome and thank you for taking time to visit my blog. The idea of starting and running this blog came to my mind as a great way to share many interesting observations and experiences that I come across in my professional life as a researcher and court interpreter. I am a life-long learner who believes that each experience is an opportunity to learn and grow.
A short time ago I have finished my Ph.D. at the Department of Sociology, London School of Economics and Political Science. I currently reside in Warsaw where I teach Criminology and Criminal Justice, as well as Macrosociology, Sociological Theories, Advanced Qualitative Research at Collegium Civitas. While in Poland, my main goal is to launch two Master’s degrees in the field of criminology (Transnational Criminology and Cybersecurity and Criminal Justice) that will be addressed to Polish and international students and taught in English.
Given my background and research interests I will be mostly writing about the Polish criminal justice system. My hope for this blog is that it would allow you to find some thought-provoking and helpful information, new ideas, and opportunities to join the conversation. Most of all, feel free to leave a comment or e-mail me if you have any questions.
All best wishes,
